About Everlasting Health Services

Everlasting Health Services is a family-centered paediatric speech pathology practice serving Mandurah and the Peel region. Founded in 2023 by certified practicing speech pathologist Jayde Watts, we're passionate about helping children aged 0-13 reach their full communication potential.

At Everlasting Health Services, we make learning fun! We use evidence-based speech pathology techniques within a playful therapy environment. This means your child receives the most effective strategies for developing speech sounds, language (receptive and expressive), literacy, fluency, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), all while engaging in enjoyable and motivating play activities. This integrated approach helps children use their new skills in real-life situations, empowering them in their everyday lives.

We offer flexible service delivery options, including clinic, home, school, and community visits, tailored to your child's individual needs and goals.

We accept Medicare, private health insurance, and National Disability Insurance Scheme (self-managed and plan-managed).

We work collaboratively with families and other professionals to support each child's unique communication journey.

Speech Pathology Journey

Contact Us

Ready to start your child's speech pathology journey? Contact us by email or phone to schedule a brief initial call. We'll discuss your child's needs and answer your questions. Afterward, we'll send you intake forms to complete.

Initial Appointment

Your child's first appointment may include a comprehensive communication assessment and a case history questionnaire to help us understand their needs and create an effective, individualised plan.

Therapy Plan

Based on this assessment, we'll develop a personalised therapy plan tailored to their specific goals. This plan will be regularly reviewed and adjusted as your child progresses, ensuring they continue to receive the most effective support.

Ongoing Services

If therapy is recommended, we'll work with you to create a regular session schedule that fits your family's needs. We believe that family involvement is crucial, so we'll encourage your participation in sessions and provide you with practical strategies to use at home, maximising the impact of therapy

Revision of Therapy Plan

Throughout the process, we'll regularly review your child's progress at the end of an intervention cycle and adjust the therapy plan and approach as needed to ensure they are receiving the most effective and evidenced based support.

Home Practice

To ensure your child's skills generalise beyond the therapy room, we'll provide you with targeted home practice activities and strategies. These will help them confidently use their new communication skills in a variety of everyday settings, maximising the impact of their therapy.

Areas of Practice

VIPSites Media

Language

Language refers to both receptive language (how well a child understands language) and expressive language (how a child uses language to communicate) skills which are essential for communication, learning, and social interaction.

VIPSites Media

Literacy

We provide targeted literacy intervention using the Sounds-Write program, a structured approach that develops a child's phonological awareness skills (e.g., blending, segmenting and phoneme manupulation) for reading and spelling success.

Literacy

We help children who stutter, or experience other fluency difficulties develop strategies for smoother speech, so they can communicate with greater ease and confidence.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

For children with communication challenges, we offer a range of AAC options, including Key Word Sign Australia and high-tech devices. Our goal is to empower children to communicate effectively and participate fully in their world by providing them with access to total communication.

Speech Sound Development

Speech pathologists target the precise movements of the mouth, tongue, and other articulators needed for clear speech production. We also work on phonological processes, which are patterns of sound errors, to improve overall speech clarity and intelligibility (ability to be understood).

Social Communication

We help children develop their social communication skills to build stronger connections with peers, family, and their community. Our approach focuses on understanding social cues, conversation skills, self-advocacy, perspective-taking, friendships, and asking for help. We use neurodiversity-affirming practices to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Due to current demand for speech pathology services, there may be a waitlist. Please contact Everlasting Health Services to discuss current availability.

We know that life with kids can be unpredictable! To ensure we can maintain consistent, evidence-based practice and support your child's progress towards their communication goals, we kindly request two business days' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Please contact your therapist directly via SMS or email. Unfortunately, cancellations made with less than two business days' notice will be charged the full session fee (100%).

While a face-to-face session may not be possible, this time allows us to provide valuable alternative services, such as telehealth appointments, report writing (if required), home program development, a phone consultation, or liaison with your child's school or allied health team via email, all of which contribute to their ongoing development.
